Scott Allan

Scott Allan

Scott holds the position of President of the inMotion Network. He devotes his time to managing the operations of the clinics and at times will continue with patient care as needed.  He often can be found driving between the clinics, facilitating staff and business development meetings while enjoying a Timmies and asking "Kyla why?"

Scott graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1987. Since graduation Scott has continued his pursuit of knowledge with extensive post graduate studies in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. While playing Junior Hockey with the St. James Canadians, Scott was introduced to physiotherapy as a patient. Now Scott is able to return that first hand experience back to his patients.

Scott's professional interests are diverse. He enjoys treating post surgical conditions and has a specialized interest in knee injuries and hip replacements, not only as a physiotherapist but as a patient as well. His involvement in sports physiotherapy ranges from his grass roots experience as a trainer with hockey and football, a therapist at two Canada Games to coordinating the medical needs for the Baseball venues at the 1999 Pan Am Games.

Stephanie has enjoyed many varied experiences as a physiotherapist since graduation from the University of Manitoba in 1986. These includes; induction into the Manitoba Runners Association as a builder in 2016; Race Director of the Physio Fit Run since 1991; presenting at seminars for The Running Room, City Park Runners, MEC, Triathlon Clubs, Joints In Motion, Manitoba Hydro, Canadian Pacific Railway regarding injury prevention, stretching exercises, office ergonomics; 10km clinic instructor for The Running Room, five years as a trainer for Winnipeg Hawkeyes Junior Football club, volunteer for numerous sporting events at all levels including Canada Games and Western Canada Summer Games, medical coordinator for the cycling venues 1999 Pan American Games; Chairperson Physiotherapy Alliance and Sport Physiotherapy Division Manitoba Branch. Academically she holds a Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate Level. Numerous courses identified by the Canadian Physiotherapy Orthopaedic Division, Sports Physiotherapy Division, Canadian Physiotherapy Association have been utilized to increase her knowledge base. She was awarded the Lenore Saunders Award in 2007 to recognize contribution to the profession. Special interests include the treatment of running injuries due to her extensive athletic background, including full marathons, half marathons, triathlons and Ironman Canada in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. In 2015 Stephanie Roberecki ran the Boston Marathon which was a lifelong dream come true! An avid mountain bike enthusiast and recreational downhill skier, it is realized that injuries are in fact a part of an active lifestyle!! Life is meant to be lived and Stephanie will do her best to keep you moving.
Scott Allan and Stephanie Roberecki opened Quarry Physiotherapy in Stonewall in 1994. The clinic has grown significantly since then and continues to grow. The clinics in Gimli and Arborg were added to provide more comprehensive patient care to the Interlake. Service excellence is the desired result of the countless hours of dedication to the businesses. Stephanie is actively involved with the Interlake Clinics in marketing and promotion capacity!

Sherry Scott

Soon after her 1989 graduation from R.D. Parker Collegiate in Thompson, Manitoba, Sherry moved to Winnipeg, in which she has continues to live and call home. Initial achievement of her certificate in Medical Radiological Technology, with Medical Laboratory Assistant, introduced Sherry to the hospital and medical system. Experience and knowledge acquired in both acute and chronic care settings spurred Sherry to expand her focus and explore the primary care giver role.

Sherry returned to school to graduate from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor Degree in Medical Rehabilitation in 2003 and has since pursued her interest of musculoskeletal rehabilitation in both the hospital and private clinic setting. Sherry currently works in a clinic where she manages a full case load and diverse clientele which can range from individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents or injured on the job, to runners and athletes, as well as individuals suffering from both acute and chronic injuries. Sherry actively strives to further her knowledge and continuing education having completed numerous courses that include management courses through U of W, manual therapy levels through the Orthopaedic division, and has also achieved certification in acupuncture through the International Foundation to mention a few. In her spare time Sherry can be found teaching a clinic at the Running Room with her partner Stephanie Roberecki or out for a jog in the park.

Krista attended the University of Manitoba and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy. Krista has been with Portage Physiotherapy since February 2000. Over the years Krista has taken many post graduate courses in the area of orthopaedics and has a special interest in the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction. In 2006 Krista decided to branch out into Women’s Health issues, particularly in the area of pelvic pain and incontinence.

Krista grew up in Winnipeg and after several years of commuting decided to make the move to Portage la Prairie with Craig and their boys in 2005.

Cody Pelech

Cody graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2015. He continued his education the next year and graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Manitoba in 2017. He first became interested in physiotherapy after undergoing knee reconstructive surgery, which allowed him to return to competitive hockey and other sports in his high school senior year.

Cody has since found a passion working as a therapist in order to help others manage their injuries, achieve their fitness goals, as well as prevent re-injury. Cody aspires to help clients of all ages achieve their fitness and health goals with experience working in mixed orthopedics, joint replacements, spinal cord injuries, as well as intensive care populations.

In his spare time, Cody enjoys staying active by lifting weights, playing a variety of sports, and getting on the golf course. He also enjoys using his spare time in order to advance his skills as a therapist and relax with his family and friends.

Sarah is a 2008 graduate of Wellington Collage of Remedial Massage Therapy and holds a certificate in Sports Event Massage. She has taken a number of specialized courses over the past few years including topics of carpal tunnel, TMJ dysfunction, and ankle and foot issues.  She has worked with MWJHL and SEMHL hockey teams throughout their seasons and volunteered at numerous events with the inMotion Team! She has also been trained in Pre-Natal Massage and enjoys working with expectant mothers. Before having her son in 2016, Sarah taught the anatomy course at Wellington College and worked for the inMotion network in Stonewall and Winnipeg. Having only lived in portage for a short time, she enjoys getting out to meet new people and get involved in her new community, but also tries to give back to her home town in the Interlake as much as possible. Her favorite activities include volleyball, swimming, and crafting! Sarah also loves to travel every chance she gets!

Graduating from Wellington College of Remedial Massage therapy in January 2012 Chelsea enjoys participating in continued education courses and broadening her massage scope and background to better aide current and future clients.

A country girl all her life, growing up in Plumas and now residing in Gladstone with  husband Chris and son Liam. She enjoys spending her summers fishing at the lake, watching and playing baseball. Winters are kept busy running from rink to rink watching all the boys play hockey !

Stephanie joined the inMotion team in August of 2018.  After working as a certified Health Care Aide for the past 10 years Stephanie is now expanding her education and training to become a Remedial Massage Therapist through Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in the Distance Education Program.  After completing her practical hours with the Portage Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, she has submitted her application and became our current Relaxation Therapist.  

Raised by RCMP officer parents and 3 older brothers, Stephanie has lived in Alberta and several areas in Manitoba. Currently residing south of Portage with her husband and son.  She enjoys spending time with her family by hiking, kayaking, swimming, and water-skiing in Kenora as soon as summer allows it.

Previously a Clinic Aide / Office Assistant while completing her schooling, Lydia Pongoski is now an Athletic Therapist working at our Portage clinic! She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology through the athletic therapy program.

Over the years she has gained experience from various sports such as the University of Manitoba Track and Field team, the Blue Bombers Cheer and Dance Team, the New York Rangers Professional Hockey Team, and currently with the Winnipeg Blues Hockey Team.

Lydia is able to treat a wide range of injuries, not only sports related injuries, but injuries that can be related to work or motor vehicle accidents.

In her spare time Lydia coaches gymnastics at the Southport Gymnastics club and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

He practices within a medical- model approach and works well with other health care providers including your physician. Taking a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.

Edison likes to spend time with his family, loves the outdoors, and camps every summer by tenting it “old school”. He resides in the Winnipeg area living an active and healthy lifestyle. She has worked as a Dialysis and Foot Care Nurse as well as a Diabetic Foot Care Nurse since then, for the IRHA and for the inMotion Network of Physiotehrapy Clinics and More. In 2010 she completed her training as a Reflexologist with the Reflexology Association of Canada. In 2010 her courier also took another turn as in she started work as a Diabetes Nurse Educator in the northern Interlake area.

In her free time she enjoys going for long walks with her dog, Lady, every day if at all possible. Swimming, skiing, curling almost any kind of outdoor activity. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and especially her Church family. At present Annette resides just outside of Moosehorn, Manitoba with her husband Albert. Sarah is a private practice dietitian working and living in Winnipeg. She received her Bachelor of Human Ecology with a major in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Manitoba in 1988 and obtained her Registered Dietitian designation in 1989.  Sarah has been in private practice for over 25 years helping people reach their individual nutrition goals.

Sarah’s focus is on nutrition counselling individual children and adults, including seniors, related to therapeutic diets (e.g. high blood pressure, cholesterol and gastrointestinal disorders), weight management, healthy eating, prenatal nutrition, sports nutrition, eating disorders and group counselling.

Sarah has a passion for her profession.  Her goal is to carefully listen to her clients and work closely with them to find a healthy and balanced way of living that fits their specific needs and individual circumstances. She believes that nothing is written in stone.  If one approach doesn’t work, she and her clients will find one that does . . . together.

Sarah is thrilled to join the inMotion Network Team at Sage Creek as well as Creekside to help her clients lead healthier lives.

The inMotion Network began to consult with Joanne in 2012 at Creekside with her functional capacity evaluations and have since gone on to utilize Joanne in many other occupational therapy situations.  She currently provides services in all inMotion Network locations.
